Welcome Message from the Director

Welcome  to  the  Office  of  Environmental  Protection, Occupational Safety  and  Hygiene (DESH). Since  its  establishment, Ming  Chi  University  of  Technology (MCUT) has  adopted  the  principles  of  environmental  protection, energy  conservation, and  sustainability  as  the  core  values  in  promoting  environmental  protection  and  hygiene. DESH  is  a  Level 1  administrative  unit  at  MCUT.  It was  established  in  September  1997  as  the  Office  of  Labor  Safety  and  Health,  and  the  name  has  been changed  to  DESH  in  September  1999  to  reflect  the  broadened  mission  and  scope. DESH   consists  of  two  sections: Environmental  Protection  Section  and  Safety  and  Hygiene  Section.
