In order to regularly inspect the operation and storage sites of hazardous chemical substances, the Ministry of Environment invited the Office of Homeland Security of the Executive Yuan and the Fire Department of the Ministry of the Interior to hold the "113-114 Annual Hazardous Chemical Substances Operation and Storage Site On-site Inspection and Research Meeting" on October 18, 2014. On February 26, 2015, the Ministry of Environment announced the amendment of the "Reference Guidelines for Abnormal Disposal and Operation and Storage of Hazardous Chemical Substances and Response Management".
